Action Plan

8th Sept (week beginning):-
  • Find unsigned artist.
  • Research an existing artist's sense of coherence.
  • Start up blog.
  • Textual analysis of music video.

15th Sept:-
  • Ask permission from copyright owner.
  • Identify conventions of genre.
  • Apply Goodwin's theory.
  • Analyse redundant and entropic features.

22nd Sept:-
  • Generate ideas using lyrics.
  • Moodboards.
  • Identify sources of inspiration.
  • Institution research.
  • Outline target audience.
  • Create pitch.

29th Sept:-
  • Present pitch for feedback.
  • Create story arch and synopsis.
  • Plan 5 sections of video.
  • Storyboards.

6th Oct:-
  • Shot list and shooting schedule.
  • Test shots.
  • Location, casting, costume and props.
  • Risk assessment.

13th Oct - 3rd Nov:-
  • Filming.
  • Blog progress.

3rd Nov - 24th Nov:-
  • Editing (first rough cut by 17th).
  • Audience feedback.

1st Dec:-

  • Analyse 2x adverts and 2x digipacks.
  • Mock ups.
  • Experiment - fonts, colours & layout.
  • Photoshoot.


8th Dec:-

  • Produce print drafts.
  • Feedback.


15th Dec:-

  • Complete print products.


22nd Dec - 29th Dec:-

  • Draft evaluation.
5th Jan - 12th Jan:-
  • Evaluation.
